Pewsey Vale


	The Vale of Pewsey runs East from Devizes, with the Marlborough Downs to the North and Salisbury Plain to the South. Through it run the Kennet & Avon Canal and the railway line from Paddington to Exeter.


	Bishops Cannings is at the West end of the Vale. The Church, with its characteristic double steeple, can be seen from the surrounding hills.
